Description: antique original World War Two poncho The very SCARCE second version made with light NYLON material ( not that heavy & stiff material used in the first model ) Draw string closure in the middle Decent condition don’t confuse this with the common heavy & stif versions these came out in late 1944 and were discontinued as soon a hostilities ceased in sept 1945 two of these could be fitted together in order to make a two man pup tent these are scarce ,… these light weight examples are scarce ,… They were made in very limited numbers , The Few examples survived the war were simply used up and discarded not long after the war ended don’t pass it up - you may ever see another again at any price !
