Description: A collection of 12 chronologically organized personal letters to and from Private Arthur F Forcht of Pennsylvania. Letters include different family members and sent from the Private at different Military locations throughout the 2 years these cover. All but one includes the original mailing envelope showing which location the soldier was at that time. All of the ones from overseas (France or Germany) had to be screened by a censor in case any vital info may have been discussed, but none was. This is a small snapshot of the times during and at the end of World War 1. Letters are all in very good shape with some minor tears and fading. See photos for details, condition, and content.
