It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects. Description Meet Clay Washburn, who in the 1930s and 1940s, tries to make a living by cranking out fiction for the popular "pulp" magazines of the day and struggles with whatever life puts in his path. In addition to Clay's world, in each issue, you also often see the adventures of the fictional characters that he is working on. In this issue, "A Dash of Chaos – A Pinch of Order," Clay struggles with ethical doubts about his writing and his girl friend's snobbishness as he works on the adventures of Brass-Knuckles Bendix. Script by Dave Darrigo and art by Les Taylor. Issue also has a multi-page text feature and art on the old pulp magazines.
