The street address number has been patched from the front and back sides,as shown highlighted in the picture with the red arrow, either from an address change or to correct a mistake by the stencilmaker. I have also taken a close up of the space between "Stockton" and "Calif." to show where the stencilmaker went to punch a C- thought better of it- and it didn't go all the way through the oil board. On the back is the handwritten date 3/22/35 and the number 339 (which I believe is the store number) written twice boldly in ink. *$2 bill is for size reference and is not included in the sale.
