I have used several of Osprey's packs and the Kyte 36 is by far my favorite in terms of fit. In addition to being great for backpacking trips, this pack is also excellent for travel and I've never had an issue taking it as a carry-on. It fits easily in overhead compartments and has never been flagged as a bigger pack that the airline would prefer to check.
