We import our Lotuses, Lilies, Butterfly Pea, Kanna, 50x extracts, and many other Thai herbs from a small farm cooperative in Thailand. They are completely free from fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc... and only harvested when at the peak of medicinal value. They also use fair trade practices that benefit the farmer directly and help to revitalize the local communities. Batch specific testing is thus far cost prohibitive; however, we randomly test many of these products for heavy metals, biological and other contaminates. The growth of lotuses and water lilies, in particular, has been a great boon to the local ecosystems and communities as they are replacing other less profitable and less sustainable/ecologically safe crops. We look forward to visiting the farm co-op in Thailand in the coming year or two and sharing more pictures and stories!
