Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a Seth Thomas wood/brass trim electric clock, model 557-q. The clock is a square shaped medium stained wood framed brass trim around clock face on outside and a rope brass trim around front square perimeter. Two brass feet on front ends and sides of clock and ends at backside. The glass face bows out with light scratches. The backside has a metal plate with info impressed poise-1 with model number 557-q and etc... Alarm at top set alarm back left, set time on right. All knobs are maybe darkened by tarnish, tarnish brass. All are in place and work. Setting time can be tedious to turn but does work as supposed to. The brass on front rope trim has tarnish and darkening and feet. Could be wear scratches, appropriate for age on all trim. The hands are black. White in gold on white clock face. Seth Thomas above the six. Gold second and alarm set hands. The wood on clock has nicks due to age/use. Some on right side and top and sometimes dirt spots. Less on sides and front as far as nicks; more on top. The back plate is dirty. Some scratches in spots, residue. Cord is intact. The underside has shelf protectors but green is aged and worn. Clock does not hum and keeps time and functions work properly. See all pics for they are part of description. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Measures 4 7/8" X 5.25" X 2.75".
