Description: VTG Florenza Jewelry Domed Brooch w/ Purple Center Stone, Pearls, Pink Stones. Florenza operated under the name Dan Kasoff, Inc. as a manufacturing industry, and did not start marking its own production jewelry FLORENZA until around 1949-1950. All of their jewelry was sold through wholesalers who then resold them to the retailers. They produced wonderful Victorian revival examples in ornate brooches, bracelets, Necklaces, and earrings. This piece has the makers mark on the back that dates it back in the late 1950s. This brooch has a large purple round center stone and has small faux pearls around it. There are textured silver leaves with small faux turquoise beads and pink rhinestones alternating between them. The base metal is a gold toned color (see photos). This piece has a domed shape to it (see photos). It has the makers mark on the back. This brooch measures 2.25" round and is about .75" high. There is 1 turquoise bead missing (see photos). The foil backing on the large purple center stone has come off (see photos). The center stone has minor scratches and scuff marks on the top and sides of the stone (see photos).
