Description: Vintage 1970’s handmade bolo , by famous artist , now deceased , Effie Calavaza . 74 grams total weight . Marked EFFIE C ZUNI on the back . The bolo has gorgeous blue turquoise ( looks like Sleeping Beauty TQ ) and red coral . The black leather is in very good condition. 4 snakes total , all with inlaid stone eyes . The silver was sand cast, one of the things Effie was famous for , and this snake piece was her trademark for a lot of her jewelry . Her designs and workmanship are highly respected and sought after . The edges of the bolo have a nice design , and the snakes have designs along the tops . Very nice workmanship throughout !
