Description: Vintage California Pottery Soup Tureen Fred Roberts Company, San Francisco in original box (which I will put inside another shipping box). What a fun piece! 1960s Flower Power! I love California pottery, and if you're looking at this, you probably do too. You probably also know how fragile it is. Overall, this piece is great, but as per last 3 photos, there is what appear to be chips or missing glaze on the one flower. It also looks like the white flower was glazed over a chip in manufacturing, but that is not surprising in post war Japan. Bottom line, you would not be getting a "perfect" piece, but you would be getting a totally "groovy" worthy of display piece. At least I think so. It was on display in my home for many, many years, and every thrift maven junking momma who came to call absolutely loved it. "WOW! Is THAT ever NEAT!" The actual chip I am sure is a chip (because I put there) is on the end of the ladle. It's shown in one of the last 4 photos and is so small, it is almost imperceptible.
