Vintage Waltham CP 201 Watch w/Blue Dial,PUW 661S Mvmt, RUNS Recently Serviced

Description: * Running Waltham CP 201 Watch w/Blue Dial. Using PUW 661S Manual Wind Movement * Up For Auction is a Classic Waltham CP201 with Near Pristine Blue Dial. This Watch Utilizes the PUW 661S 17j Manual Wind Movement Featuring a Very Snappy Quick Date Change when stem is pulled out to the first position. Winding, Date Setting and Time Setting all work perfectly using the Original Crown and Stem. This Watch has been recently serviced to run within +- 5 Seconds a day in 3 Positions and is in good running order (Please See Supplied Time Grapher Readout). The Case Back Gasket has been replaced but as with most Vintage watches the crown gasket is a bit harder to change with out damaging the crown so it has not been replaced, please avoid contact with water. The Dial is in very good condition considering its age, and the lume on the markers and hands has aged beautifully, though do not hold much of a glow. Will Glow for a few seconds once charged under sun/bright light. The Hands are in decent condition, with the minute hand showing its age a bit more then the other 2. The Dial has a beautiful texture to it, with a bit of a fume effect where the blue is darker towards the edges of the dial. As Pictured there is a decent amount of wear on the case of the watch, The chrome finish has come off on the crown side of the watch case as well as on the crown. Some of the sharper edges also show this wear though to the brass. The surface of the watch displays a bit of scratching but the finish still appears to be intact. Please make sure you look at all the images to see the condition of the watch. Feel free to ask for additional images if you have any further concerns. The Crystal has been refinished with care given to maintain the facets of the original design. The Crystal is truly unique. The watch Measures around 35mm excluding the Crown. With the Crown its about 37.5mm. Its has a 17mm Lug width and I will supply 2 new 17mm Spring Bars. The Thickness of the watch is around 11mm from back to the top of the crystal.
