Vintage Solid Brass Oval Shape Picture Frame Set; Ornate Victorian Floral Design

Description: This set of two oval shaped picture frames are made of solid brass and are embossed with an all over ornate Victorian floral design. The backing and easel of each picture frame is heavy cardboard covered in black velvet. There are four adjustable brass prongs with screws on the back of each picture frame which holds the frame glass and backing that can be loosened to insert the photos. The picture frames are heavy with the larger frame weighing 1.5 lbs and dimensions of 5 1/2” long x 9 1/2” high. This frame holds a 4 1/2” x 7” size photo. The smaller frame weighs 1 lb and the dimensions are 6 1/4” x 7” high and it holds a 4 1/4” x 4” size photo. This beautiful picture frame set is from the 1980’s and is a rare find. They have been safely stored away by the original owner and neither picture frame has been used in the past several years. Both picture frames are in wonderful vintage condition with no scratches, chips, cracks or color discoloration anywhere on the solid brass. Each frame has their original glass which are also in wonderful condition with no scratches, chips, or cracks on either piece of glass. Please refer to all photos.
