Description: A Magnificent Vintage SCHIAPARELLI Red Cabochon & Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Brooch/Pendant!! This brooch/pendant from one of the premier costume jewelry designers is amazing!! The color of the cabochons in the top at the the bottom is a deep, rich ruby red. The center waterfall design includes clear aurora borealis rhinestones along with red aurora borealis rhinestones in a diamond pattern. This piece is in excellent condition - no repairs, loose stones or cloudiness in the stones. The back is a solid silver tone metal (other than the cabochons, which have an open back to allow maximum color!). The pin for the brooch open & closes snuggly and the pendant attachment is fully functional. This piece measures 4 1/2" long and is 1 7/8" wide across the top. This is clearly marked with the SCHIAPARELLI scrip on the back (see the photos). An amazing rare piece - that is a must have!!!
