Wow - true vintage original issued by the US Navy, I don't see any ID date but this isn't the original oldest "clothing factory" label you see in WWII era versions, and also this seems earlier than the Vietnam era and even Korean War era versions I've seen, so I'm assuming this is post WWII? I'm sure you'll know more specifically. Still has the mega high quality manufacturing of the WWII version with the corduroy lined pockets and all that, no zig zag seam stitching under the collar though. See pics overall it's in beautiful clean shape, totally wearable right now and I wish it was just a bit bigger or I might actually claim it for my own. But no missing buttons, no staining on the body of the fabric, superb. It has a few surface holes but I mean few, see pics. I see one on the shoulder and one near the end of one sleeve, but none others looking it over, I'm sure there's another hiding in there somewhere but overall that's the impression it leaves, very solid shape.
