Description: Vintage Pewter Oval Shaped Teapot, J. B. Chatterly & Sons, Birmingham, England, c. 1896 - 1910. This is a very nice vintage pewter teapot with a nicely oval shaped body. This pewter teapot has a hinged lid and a shaped handle. This is engraved on the front showing it was a presentation gift. The engraving reads, "PRESENTED TO Rev. & Mrs. T. H. Jenkins - BY EBENEZER SUNDAY SCHOOL - LLANTTWIT MAJOR - MAR. 23RD 1907." This is marked on the base, "JBC&S LTD.". This was probably originally silver plated over the pewter base, but that has entirely worn off. I offer this vintage pewter teapot with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The pewter teapot is 5 3/8" H. x 4 1/2" W. x 9 13/16" L.. CONDITION: The overall condition is very good with minimal denting, scratching to the body and wear commensurate with age. This is missing it's finial. This was probably originally silver plated over the pewter base, but that has entirely worn off.
