Description: This is a beautiful vintage Navajo sterling and inlay turquoise peyote bird pendant on an 18" sterling chain that was purchased from an estate in Tucson, Arizona. It was made by a Navajo artist who signed it "S" with another mark above the S; it is also stamped sterling.and has been tested as sterling. The pendant measures 1 5/8 inches tall and 1/2 inch wide. The closure on the chain is a spring ring. The pendant is made of two components; the tail is attacked to the body by a ring. The pendant weighs 3 grams. Original patina.
