Vintage Large Sterling Red Jasper Offset Oval Pendant Signed CFJ

Description: Vintage Large Sterling Red Jasper Offset Asymmetrical Pendant Signed "925 CFJ Thailand"The pendant measures 2 5/8ths inches long x 2 inches wide. The stone measures 1 5/8ths inches long x 1 3/16ths inches wide. Large domed and hammered sterling silver pendant with 5 sterling swirls and offset red jasper stone set in a bezel. The back has a wide sterling bail for a chain or cord to slide through. The bail measures 1/4 inch wide. The red jasper stone has a line at the bottom of if and I thought it was cracked. Upon looking with a loop, I can see the stone is cracked but it must have happened when the artist was making it as it has been glued to look like a natural crack in it - OR it could be a natural happening that was unveiled when the stone was polished. It looks like a rock you pick up and it has sand and whatever filling the crack - not a glue substance. Just want to be aware of this. It doesn't really show unless you really look for it and doesn't effect the pendant at all. The stone is still very secure in the bezel. The last picture show this area at bottom of stone.
