Description: Rare vintage set of Iittala drinking glasses. These are from an estate auction and I think they date to the late 1950's. According to the research I have done they were designed by Tapio Wirkalla. I am far from an expert on these things, so please rely on your own knowledge as far as that goes. These are in their original box with a sticker that reads 2064 / 30 L on the bottom. They are a Cobalt blue in color. They measure just under 7" tall x 2 1/2" in diameter at the top x just under 2" in diameter at the bottom. The glasses are in excellent condition. I doubt they were used much as one of them still has the sticker on it. I see no damage. No chip, cracks, or scratches. They actually look pretty close to pristine to me. The box does show wear and tear and is dirty. The box top is also split on the corners. A couple of notes: I do have a set of these in dark purple listed as well and would ship both together if anyone wants both. Also, these will require a fairly large box to safely ship them, so it might be oversized. If shipping appears high, that is why. I do not charge a handling fee.
