Description: Vintage Hand Painted Tiles Set of 2 - Medieval Wood Block Print West Germany These tiles were manufactured in Western Germany most likely in the1950s. The designs appear to be sourced from early German woodblock prints. The have hand painted scenes on an ivory white background. They measure approx 5 7/8 in square.The tile with the figure warming their hands by the pot has some age related crazing.The tile with 2 figures has a small area in lower left corner that appears to be a firing flaw not a chip.
