Description: Vintage Hand Made Ioannina Greek 12" Fabric Doll Traditional Folk Costume 1960s. Approximately 32 cm (or 12.5") tall. The original tag is still attached but very faded, reading H__ I__ IOANN__. That would have said HAND MADE IN GREECE IOANNINA. Someone wrote 1920 on the other side, but from my research, these are 1960 souvenir dolls from Greece. The legs and face are a paper mache-like composite with the arms being plastic. Very well made. The condition is not the best, includng general rips and loose threads; see pictures for exactly what you are getting. Still a lovely addition to any collection. Please note: the doll stand is not included (just for pictures).
