Description: Up for sale this vintage Gyro-Vise No. 73 1/2 Smooth Jaw made by the Columbian Vise & Mfg Co of Cleveland Ohio. Nice 3 1/2" wide jaws. Opens to a maximum of approx. 4 7/8". Nice heavy cast iron. Includes the often missing base piece that allows for the vise to be bench mounted. Also allows for alternate mounting of the vise in different positions. In a very good solid condition.. Lots of the original red paint remains. Nice smooth action. Closes and opens fine. 3 1/2" jaws close well. Some tools marks, dings and minor wear to the top of the jaws. Base fits well into the vise and has a flat base. Overall in good vintage condition.
