Vintage Gucci Brown Leather Soft Suitcase Luggage Stripes 31”x6”x19” Travel Bag

Description: When you have a vintage Gucci piece in your hand and you feel the quality of the leather and see the quality of the hardware you really “get it”. This classic old suitcase/garment bag shows it’s age in places but the quality is so good it has many more decades ahead of it. I see 100 year old Gucci travel trunks cross the auction block all the time. They were made to last, same as this piece. Nothing is broken, everything works. Just some small cosmetic issues here and there. It does not have its key so cannot be locked. A locksmith could probably change the lock mechanism for you if you wish. One of the little feet it sits on is a tiny but bit loose but you’ll never notice it if you’re not looking for it. It does have the original owners monogram but it doesn’t stick out much visually. You could even erase it with consistent gentle friction in that area if you really wanted to. Just running your thumb or a washcloth or something over it repetitively many time would slowly but surely wear down the gold letters. You’d just have to be careful not to wear the leather down. The inside of the suitcase is very clean! I’d have absolutely no problem putting my good clean shirts in it as it sits. It’s approximately 31”x6”x19””. It is soft leather though so it can expand a bit beyond the dimensions. Particularly is 6” width can expand a decent amount. No wheels, and it’s heavier than modern synthetic luggage but damn does it look cool! Ships ASAP! Thanks Free Boston area pickup.
