Description: Gorgeous addition to your traditional room, this Maddox Federal style mahogany writing desk features a fold-away writing surface, two large long drawers with flame mahogany fronts, and tapered banded legs. Behind the two tambour doors above the writing surface, multiple storage slots and small drawers offer great organization. Two wood slides (with replaced small knobs) pull out to hold up the writing surface. Overall, this desk is in great vintage condition, with normal/minor expected age wear (small wear/stain spots on top, light discoloration on writing surface/ink stains inside drawers). Solid, sturdy and would be great in any home office or as an entry way piece for mailing and writing correspondence.
