Description: Offered is a two handled art pottery vase from Czechoslovakia. It is hand-painted with roses and stems. The color is brownish-black at the top, with an ombre fade to a light green at the middle to the bottom. Bottom rim is a gold color. Of particular interest is the top of the vase, which is outwardly “cupped”, suggesting a flower. The bottom is marked “Czecho-slovakia”, which dates the piece to between 1918 and 1992. Its appearance and art nouveau styling suggest early 1900s, but I’m no art scholar. The vase is in good vintage condition, with small spots of scuffing or paint loss, as to be expected with age. It is 5 7/8” tall. We pack carefully and safely using clean recycled/reused materials whenever possible. Buyer pays shipping. From smoke-free home with pets.
