Vintage Cricket Bat, Ball, Shin Guards, Gloves, Stumps, Book & Stand Collection

Description: Beautiful Collection of Antique Vintage Cricket Memorabilia with Display Stand. Collection includes a Vintage “Slazenger Gradidge” Long Handle Special Selected Cricket Bat made in England. Great color and patina. A Pair of Vintage “Grasshopper Sports Goods” Shin Guards by Frank Bryan Ltd, Worcester, England. They are in very nice, clean condition with their full set of working leather buckled rear straps. A Pair of Vintage “Grasshopper Sports Goods” Leather Batting Gloves by Frank Bryan Ltd, Worcester, England. They are also in very nice clean condition. Next is a Vintage Heavy Duty “Spring Back” Cricket Stumps Set. I cannot find a Manufacturer’s Name anywhere, but the Wooden Stumps have an awesome patina and the Cast Iron Base has a great “Green” painted color and weighs over 14 pounds by itself! I purchased this from an eBay Seller in England many years ago. Next is a Vintage Leather “Single Seam” Cricket Ball. I have looked for information on it several times, but have never found any. It’s in great condition with nice supple leather that shows a reddish purple color when in some light. If anyone has any helpful information on it I would love to hear from you. Next is a “News Chronicle & Daily Dispatch” Cricket Annual from 1958 by Crawford White and Roy Webber from London, England. 192 pages of Cricket information and statistics. Book is 5 1/2” tall by 4” wide by 1/2” thick. Lastly is a custom made “Stand” to show off this great collection. Wooden Base is 17” across with a rubber padded bottom to protect your furniture or floors. With everything attached the display is about 36” tall. I will unscrew and remove all the parts for shipping, but it will be very easy to put back together. You can see by looking at the last couple of pics.
