Description: This vintage polo shirt was purchased at the US Open tennis tournament in the 1990s. Featuring an embroidered AIDS ribbon/ tennis ball emblem, the shirt raised funds for the Arthur Ashe AIDS Awareness campaign. For those who don’t remember, the tennis great Arthur Ashe contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion when he had heart surgery. The shirt measures 20” wide at the shoulder, 21” wide at the armpits. The front is 26” long and the “tail” is 28” long. The labels were cut off for comfort; other than that, the shirt is in perfect condition.
