This Timex watch has specific features for monitoring one’s heart rate during aerobic dance. You simply touch the preset timer and locate your pulse. When the watch beeps twice, start counting. When it beeps again, you were to multiply it by six and you’ll know exactly how hard your body was working. This watch dates to 1989.New battery installed, but this watch DOES NOT WORK. I am not sure if it is a simple internal fix, but I am selling this as a cool/not working watch. I did spend a good amount of time cleaning this watch up. It features a unique band that slides into place and are hard to find in good condition. Please note that the band is very sticky (may be salvageable - This is a typical symptom of age with these resin bands). The watch is basically new old stock, but unfortunately does not want to work after all these years. Comes with an original stand (broken).
