Description: Vintage MCM 1960s or 1970s copper wire string art on a brown velvet type material, this looks like velvet, I am not positive it is, it could be a velour of some kind. This is handmade. Measures approximately 6.5" X 6.5" in a 2" wide wooden frame. You can hang this by the frame or it will stand up by itself on a shelf, table etc. Good condition, this was extremely dusty when I found it at an estate sale. I have used a vacuum, as well as compressed air to get the dust off of the fabric and wire but it is possible that some lint got away. The frame has been polished with wax and feed orange wood treatment wax. At the time of listing I have two of these available, they are almost identical. This price is for one. Being that this is from the mid century... it is very likely that this was around cigarette/pipe etc. smoke at some point in its existence, so if that is a concern, please be forewarned, this does not have a guaranteed smoke free history and wood and fabric can retain smoke smells.
