Description: This listing is for an Unusual Halloween Geisha Wig Made From Yarn & Otaiko-Musubi Size S. Someone went to a lot of trouble to make this wig out of yarn. It is fully lined inside and has a solid form. This wig contains plastic flowers and material bows to enhance the decorative look of a Geisha wig. The Otaiko-Musubi consists of the pillow form for the back of the Japanese kimono and a sash that the Otaiko connects to. These garments are vintage originals from Japan and are in excellent condition. I purchased these items from a large theater group in Tucson that was selling some of their old production costumes. I lived in Japan for some years while I was stationed in the Air Force, so I already had beautiful, used marriage kimonos and wooden Geta shoes that I could pair with this wig and Otaiko-Musubi to create a Halloween costume. I would say that the wig is a size S. My hat size is 6-7/8, and this wig fit comfortably on my head. Add a simple cotton yukata, and some flats, and you are good to go for a great costume. I am selling off all of my elaborate Halloween costumes and accessories as I am now retired, and no one seems to have Halloween parties, anymore, so please check back as I will be listing them over the next month.
