Since the Revolutions of 1989, USAREUR has greatly reduced its size, dispatched US forces to Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and increased security cooperation with other NATO land forces. My father was a Colonel in the USAF and collected patches from every Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine unit he visited all over the Country and World to give to me as souvenirs.
