They are: 1) TIME volume XXXVII dated 9 June 1941 with Benito Mussolini on the cover, 100 pages 2) NEWSWEEK dated 8 June 1942 with an example of the Nazi War Machine on the cover, 68 pages 3) TUNE IN, Radio’s 25th Anniversary dated November 1945, 48 pages. The three 8-1/8 x 11-½ inch magazines have a total of 216 heavily illustrated pages containing a lot of news about World War II in western and eastern Europe as well as in the Middle East and Pacific. The news includes Il Duce’s career, RAF air raids on the city of Cologne, the assassination of SS General Reinhard Heydrich in Prague, casualties of war on land and sea, as well as American political news, business, finance and entertainment news. These three World War I era magazines contain a lot of advertising that is war related featuring jeeps, tanks, soldiers, sailor and Marines, Flying Tiger airplanes, etc. The circa 80 year old magazines are complete and in used (but not abused) condition, reflecting their age.
