Description: For sale is this superb vintage brass Oil Lamp by the Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson. In my estimation it dates from around the 1960s. The lamp has a beautiful form to it and it looks great on display. It's in very good vintage condition with minor light wear/marking. There are a few nibbles to the bottom of the outer glass shade, but these can not be seen when the shade is in situ. I don't think it's ever been used as there are no burn marks to the wick (I don't have any fuel to test it with but I can confirm that the wick is movable). It has a max' height of approx' 33cm (just under 13 inches) from the base to the top of the inner glass chimney). A really great piece that would grace any modern setting.
