The band working with Kevin Shirley, who had previously worked as a producer with Led Zeppelin amongst many others, sealed the connection to Storm through Led Zeppelin which was already in place via founding member Jason Bonham (son of John Bonham). Storm Thorgerson; "This picture is concerned with what is going to happen next, not what is happening now. In this case, his reflection in the water i.e. his image, is about to be shattered by his falling. What causes him to do this? Well it's probably too complex to be identified, and is instead represented by a round wooden ball known as the Great Ball of Worry, pressing down on his back- the weight of the world on his shoulders, so to speak." Storm Thorgerson (1944-2013) was an English graphic designer, known for his work for rock bands including Pink Floyd, 10cc, Muse, Genesis and Peter Gabriel. He was a key member of the British graphic art group Hipgnosis with Aubrey 'Po' Powell, and designed many of their most famous single and album covers. Perhaps Storms most famous design is for The Dark Side of the Moon, which has been called one of the greatest album covers of all time. Hipgnosis went on to create hundreds of classic album covers over the next fifteen years for some of the best known rock bands of the second half of the 20th and early 21st centuries.
