This is the interchangeable anvil style set so you can use 1 micrometer for all sizes between 6" and 9". Resolution is .001" and it has a ratcheting thimble with satin finish. It also has a friction lock ring for the spindle to hold measurements. This set comes with the original wooden box, the 3 size standards and the adjusting wrenches. There is on the end of the box magic marker writing that you can see in the photo. I quickly check it with the supplied standards and it seemed spot on. You can adjust them if needed or send it out to a lab for yearly certification if you need that traceability. No owner engravings on it other than the magic marker on the outer box as stated before.
