Description: This is a concept model of the Lunar Survey craft envisioned by Von Braun and featured in the Disney short, ‘Man in Space’. An amazingly small atomic power device is at the nose and a protective gauntlet behind it to shield the ship and crew from the radiation. The model is native plastic, painted in places with enamel and acrylic. The look is without markings (although I could add some is desired) and meant to resemble an aerospace desk model in the mid 1950’s. The model measures 11” long, 7” in height and 4” wide at the aft of the ship.
