This book is: Valley of the Mekong, by Matt J. Menger, O. M. I., Published by the Catholic Mission in Vientian Laos, 1969, first printing. This book measures 7" x 5 1/4" and is 285 pages and in Very Good condition with light foxing along the top page edge (visible only when the book is closed) and with some very-gentle wear. There are 39 pages of photographs, 13 of which are in color (e.g., please see image #1 below). The author has signed, inscribed and dated the book on the front free endpaper (i.e., image #3 below); laid in is a typed, signed, two-paragraph, 1969 letter from him, also to "Betty".
