Description: This is an antique sterling souvenir spoon from the lovely Caribbean island of Barbados. The handle has their crest and "Barbados". It was made in England, and is very good quality. The bowl is interesting, embossed with a "Flying Fish" and "Sea Egg.". It is about 4-5/8" long. Maker's marks: full English hallmarks of an anchor for Birmingham, a lion for sterling silver and an M for 1936. It could possibly be an earlier date, but this is what we think. It is also marked with the famous makers, L&S, Levi & Salaman. Weight: about 16.6 grams. Engraving: None. Condition: Very good.
