Hall effects potentiometer use magnets, no contact they can't wear out. Wiper potentiometers use, well a wiper, they can wear out as they have to make contact. Information regarding shell changes. I have shells for PS5/PS4 controllers too. However all non-service listings I have to ship within 1 business day.When I get your controller, then you can order the shell(s) you want and I'll ship everything back the next business day. I'll use the shipping fee as the install fee for the shells. Noting I don't return shells that were replaced.
