Description: Please don't go by the information listed under "About This Product," which is false information entered by the eBay web site. Rather, please go by the information I put into this description. They list two ISBN numbers - the correct one is 0.517.254204. I have photographed it off the back of the dust jacket to show that that is indeed the ISBN. They said that the author is "Random House Value Publishing Staff, Outlet Book Company Staff." That is, of course, idiotic. The author is Horst Gerson, a Professor of Art History at the University of Groningen. They said the publication year was 1985, which would be impossible, since I bought this book in the 1970s. The publication year is 1968. They said that the publisher is Random House Value Publishing, which makes it sound like this is a cheap book. It is not - it is a collector's item. The actual publisher is Harrison House Publishers in New York. They said that the book weighs 20 oz - it actually weighs 12 lbs., or 192 oz. The rest of their information is equally false. I think they've lost their minds. So if I don't answer your questions here, please email me. This coffee table size book - 15" x 11" x 2" and 12 lbs. weight - is part of the Artabras series of art books by Harrison House Publishers, New York. Other books in this series include Raphael, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. It has 527 pages, 140 of which are full-color, with 500 black-and-white reproductions. The book is hard cover, cloth, with a dust cover in perfect condition. The entire book is in mint condition, with only a handful of discreet markings in pencil near the beginning. In addition, the owner has signed his name - "Waitsel" - with the season and year - "Winter 1982" - in ink in the upper right corner of the inside right page. This is NOT the book currently for sale on Amazon, which I'm guessing is a recent reprint. This is the original, International version translated from the Dutch by Heinz Norden and published in 1968. That is the ONLY date given on the book. FREE SHIPPING
