Description: This listing is for a custom, vintage Plumb Jersey pattern axe on American Hickory. This axe was restored and built in San Francisco, California at Stunner Blades Customs. This heavy Plumb Jersey pattern head was cleaned with the bit reground. The bit is very sharp and intended for chopping and/or splitting. The helve was carved from American Hickory and hand fit to the head. The helve was thinned to ~3/4”, similar to vintage thin helves. The head was fully seated and wedged with Black Walnut. Overall length of this axe is 28 1/4”, with an approximate weight of 4 lbs 13 oz. Built to be a working axe. This axe will be securely packaged and promptly shipped to the winner.
