Description: The Survivor by Jeremy Allen It is not our trails that define us, but how we deal with them. Surviving sickness and illnesses takes tenacity and strengthens all involved. Thanks for taking time to look at my art work. I started drawing (full time) in early 2018 after battling a disease that has taken away the majority of my vision. I had always loved drawing, but was afraid to take the leap into drawing. I finally decided that someday might never come, so I better start today. Drawing has always brought me joy and I am exited to share that joy any my world with you. Inspired by a photo taken by William Albert Allard of a malaria patient in Rondonia, Brazil. This photo spoke to me of the endearing struggles that young women all around the world face. My favorite part of this portrait was the look of tenacity on the subjects face in the moment of despair. I feel like this image truly captured the enduring spirit of the survivor. This is an original drawing by Jeremy Allen. All pieces are done on acid free, medium-weight (70 lb.) drawing paper and finished with Sanford Prismacolor fixative spray to protect against UV light and smudging. Drawing is 17 inches wide by 14 inches height and have a 1 inch hand drawn boarder. Your artwork will be shipped within 48 hours of payment confirmation. Artwork ships directly from the Delightful Drawings Studio in a rigid tube mailer for protection.
