Description: OVERHAULED H. N. White Silver King B-Metal ClarinetSerial# 261924. Manufactured, as best we can tell from research, in 1945 in Cleveland, OH. This instrument was 100% overhauled over 10 years ago by a master instrument repairman, Tim Barcone of Barcone Instruments in Kingston NY (now no longer in business). Typically, he might have asked another staff member do this, but since this project was rather unusual, he wanted to do this himself. The overhaul was for my daughter who -- unfortunately for me -- never played the instrument. She was playing a very high-end Buffet clarinet at the time, but she and we had a father-daughter fight about my feeling she should expanding her playing something other than the Buffet, so in protest, she didn't touch this. It therefore has sat, albeit protected, in her closet for at least 10 years. Again, the clarinet is 100% refurbished. Original silver plating, although not buffed to shine. Never damaged and no major dents. It does NOT come with a mouthpiece, so please don't ask if I have one (I really don't have one). The case was also new 10 years ago and never taken out of the house. If you need more information, please conduct online research and try expanding upon the posted images. I am unable to describe better than what you see, and, I have no further images to post or send you. Regrets. About Silver King Clarinets: This B-flat clarinet was made by Henderson N. White in Cleveland, Ohio. It not a lower-end King model, but a "Silver King", much more expensive instrument. I specifically purchased this with professional advice that most metal clarinets of the 1920's and 1930's were junky and would be hard to play, with imperfect sound, even if restored. Terms & Conditions: what you see is what you get. So, please, unless there is something mechanically wrong with the instrument (which there shouldn't be), I do not accept returns for "Don't Want" or "Don't Like". If you do wish to buy this, you understand with "eyes wide open" that you are purchasing a vintage instrument that should probably only be played by an individual with significant clarinet experience. If you are not sure that you, or someone you love, has "significant clarinet experience", please do not buy this instrument. Thank you. As you can tell, this was tough on me to list this. I spent too much money on the instrument originally, and, I spent a lot more to have it restored. I'm just trying to make back my so-called investment. This is your opportunity to own one without going through the hassle I did. Finally, please don't talk me down - I will point you back to re-read to the posting if you do that. eBay takes a significant cut here, too, so that had to be factored in. Thank you once more.
