Description: The New York Ontario & Western Railway was chartered in 1868 and operated until 1957 when it was ordered liquidated by the U. S. bankruptcy judge. Six years later, in 1973, the Ontario & Western Railway chapter of the National Railway Historical Society was established. It was devoted to preserving the history of the Ontario & Western. The Observer, was its official organ. Vol. XXV (January-June, 1990) was dedicated to The FT's. Softcover, 48 pp., 8.5" x 11", copious b/w ills. Minimal visible wear; very good copy of a collectible railwayana item.
