Body is made of a rough-textured cotton woven blanket in the style of Native American textiles. Bottom is of contrasting stripes in a heavier natural fiber. Straps are woven bands that feel like a wool/cotton blend. Top closes with a rope drawstring. As shown it folds into a neat, small flat square--great for packing if you need an extra carry-all on a return trip. Or you want to pack it away after carrying supplies to a festival. In photos, the multicolor striped rectangle is the base of the backpack; the orange and brown stripe at the bottom, as in the first photo, is the bottom of the front.
