Description: Meta 2 Augmented Reality Headset - Tested This headset is made by Meta a startup company that no longer exists. It is not associated with today's Meta formerly known as Facebook. The AR headset features hand gesture input, sound, and augmented reality image display. It requires a computer with an HDMI video cable output, USB port, and hardware accelerated 3D graphics. The developer kit software includes demos and a Unity Game Engine plugin that works with an older version of Unity that was current at the time this headset was released. If you know how to program in Unity Game Engine it is possible to study the samples to create your own Unity apps. Seller can provide information on how to get started with the developer kit. This was an early stage prototype intended for developers and never made it to full commercial release since the company ran out of funding. This particular headset has some cosmetic scratches on the outside of the plastic visor. This does not affect the usability of the AR experience. Includes headset, HDMI, USB, and power cables/adapter and original box. The computer in the picture is not included and is shown only to demonstrate that the headset is working.
