CLASSIFICATION OF ITEM: Fantasy Art Banknote (non-genuine artistic creation that looks like real money, limited edition novelty bill) GRADE OR CONDITION OF ITEM(S): Uncirculated (new condition) APPROXIMATE SIZE: 7 1/16" wide x 3 3/4" high ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION: Per order of the Royal Exchequer to bring more money into the Princess' coffers, the Marie Byrd Land penguino has been revalued to 1/10th of the original value for all "new penguino" denominated overprinted polymer issues. This allows the selling price of the new penguino notes to be much less than the original 60 penguino bills, which will still be honored at their original "face value" (actually a refundability clause) until the expiration date printed on each note. This is a "SPECIMEN" issue, and, as such, has no "Reedeemability." The Principality of Marie Byrd Land became the Kingdom of Marie Byrd Land on June 2, 2018. On that date, Prince Richard James, the royal exchequer, became King of this fantasy kingdom. Princess Christine Marie I, ruling monarch under the previous principality, will become Queen on 11/22/2018 and then both will serve as co-rulers of the fantasy kingdom. This paper private issue fantasy art note is one of two new designs recently released by the Reed Banknote Co., Sarasota! This awesome 65 penguino (pronounced pen-gwee-no) note was printed with a date of June 2, 2018 for "Marie Byrd Land - Western Antarctica." These incredible and colorful notes are an unofficial fantasy issue created by The Reed Banknote Co., Sarasota and are some of the neatest fantasy notes designed for one of the final frontiers on Earth. This special bill commemorates the 65th anniversary of the coronation of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and also the 65th birthday of MBL King Richard II and Royal Exchequer R. J. Reed. This is the adjusted variety (version two) of the original design. The original issue was withdrawn due to a trimming setup error on the sheets and also reportedly because the stylized "painted" back (a mirror image basically of the front of the note) depicted both Queen Elizabeth and King Richard in an unflattering manner. The two faces on the back were "repainted" digitally on the version two designs. This listing is for one version two (corrected) SPECIMEN note. Very limited edition printing and great opportunity to add a unique note to your collection or stock! Each incredible bill has a very cool "latent" hologram over the "MBL Royal Exchequer" seal at the lower left on the front, that allows the details of the seal (map of Antarctica, standing penguin, and denomination) to show through! The holograms are each painstakingly attached by hand. Due to this slow process, these notes are limited in availability and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis! Other features of the bill include omeron rings, the hand-signed signature of the Royal Exchequer (and King) of Marie Byrd Land, and hidden ultra-violet glowing text and threads. This note is printed on watermarked security paper and also has microtext as an additional security feature.
