Once damaged it becomes difficult to remove, and install the plugs again during routine maintenance of the shotgun. SBE Precision Products magazine plugs are far superior to the OEM plugs because they are machined from 1144 Stressproof steel (26 RC Hardness), and given a Mil-Spec Manganese Phosphate coating to protect them from corrosion. We have added a second slot to the face of the plug to allow removal even if one slot is damaged. These are by far the best replacements you will find anywhere for your KSG magazine plugs.
