YOU must Specify and I.M. me if you need the 300-500-750-1KW Kit. Otherwise.YOU will get the 200 kit automatically. All the others use the same parts in the HV supply &associated passive circuits. READ FIRST BEFORE CLICKING BUY IT NOW ! This is NOT AN OEM KIT. The parts in this kit will get your amplifier working because these electronic parts have the same function & electrical characteristics of the original equipment parts. All Capacitors are radial not Axial. Of course. Usable tubes. Functioning Relays. Some parts may be of a higher current or voltage rating than original. They will work fine. The transistors may not be the same part number , but they will work if installed correctly. ( E.B.C.) Emitter Base Collector. You have to have TOOLS. Such as a 30 to 60 watt Iron or variable larger soldering gun, solder & paste . At least one surgical tweezers ; needle nose pliers & Cheap Analog Multimeter. Optional but good to have. Transistor checker/Capacitor tester. A basic understanding of BJT transistors. Like emitter, base , collector & the LOCATION of the he legs of the PNP or NPN transistors in the kit. The FCC caught up with Majestic, Amplifier eventually. Maco's had issues. But the CB Cold War in Brooklyn was Hot. Guess also in many other parts of the US. Whooo M-2057. Can't fit those in a Skipper. They fit snug in the 200 ! They are worth restoring. Never got around to it. Maybe this year. Using the parts from a Skipper with a blown transformer. Rebuild my 200 ? Most likely the differences are the tubes.8950;6Lf6;6Lb6 The biasing arrangement. Grounded Grid or a positive grid bias ? Screen Modulated tube arangement. Not grounded grid. Early models may have used a tube as the main part of the keyup circuit. This kit will work on all versions. The tube Key-up circuit could be upgraded with a few more parts & this kit. Though the Maco 200 & Maco 2 piece 1KW and Pow KW+ are grounded grid the rest of the Maco's are screen modulated. All seem to use the same Key-up Circuit. The Pre-Amps seem to differ if they are Bi-linear. Internet search CBTricks. You can find the schematic. 2 x keyup transistor 1 extra. A PNP High Side TZ2905 1 x Pre-Amp Transistor NPN 2N3904 or equivalent. 3 x 220uf Low Voltage 8 x 3 amp 1000v Rectifier Diodes 1 x 22uf LV 3 x 450v 220uf.
