Description: Beautiful original polished bright blade Model 1905 bayonet for the Model 1903 rifle. First year of production and marked 1906. Blade is in excellent untouched condition with a little rust staining. The hilt retains most of its original blue but does have some rust spots, mostly on the pommel. Walnut grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Release functions perfectly. The leather M1905 scabbard is the second type and marked RIA over 1907 over inspector's mark H.E.K. It is personalized with three initials lightly marked in the middle of the leather on front. The stitching is solid. The metal on the scabbard has turned mostly to a rust patina with some scattered spots of paint. See photos for details. I combine shipping.
