Description: This is a very nice matching front and rear walnut handguard set for an M1 Garand rifle.These are made by Overton and have the partial "0" on the back of the rear handguard. (hard to see in the pics)These would be correct for an IHC or HRA M1 Garand. They have no cracks, splits or repairs. The walnut has a really nice grain pattern and both match extremely well. I have always believed these were leftovers of production that were saved to be used in rebuilding M1's. They appear unused/unissued. This auction is for the exact set handguard pictured. I've had these in my personal stash for 20 years waiting on finding the right stock to go with them.
